Background

Express Tool Hire Ltd are an independent tool hire company based in Colwick, Nottingham serving the construction industry with a wide selection of tools, equipment and consumables.


 The Issue

As a new start up business, Express Tool Hire had chosen a low cost software package to help them run their business. They very quickly discovered that this may not have been the right decision. Within four months of going live they were a month late with their invoicing and consequently cash flow became critical. There were key functionality issues too: Express Tool Hire needed to do partial off-hires and to exchange on-hire items, functionality which was not available within their current system.
