Background

Established over 30 years ago Hember Plant Hire is an experienced company providing quality plant at competitive prices. With depots conveniently located across the country they combine experienced, friendly staff and highly trained engineers giving them the capability to provide the best and latest in plant equipment.

The issue

Hember had been using another plant management system for some time but it became apparent that they required additional functionality. The existing software made it difficult to see if plant was in service or available, and Hember also required a purchase order system which the current programme omitted.

The Solution

Hember listed their criteria when they began the search for a replacement plant management solution. Firstly the system needed to be flexible to allow for expansion; it needed to provide users with the functionality to transfer system data to either word or excel and it needed to provide access to change documentation, delivery notes in particular.
