Work smarter not harder with inspHire rental management solutions
2nd Mar 2010
Selling on service is key when a market is already rate sensitive and most companies are renting out at similar rates. The key to success is to deliver a high level of service to the clients with minimal costs. One of the ways to do this is to work smarter not harder and this is where inspHire have focused time, resource and development. If a client needs a proof of delivery or has a query about a recent or ongoing rental they can self-serve by logging on to the inspHire WebPortal and getting the Proof of Delivery or copy invoice themselves allowing customers to download copy test certificates or instruction manuals at their convenience. inspHire CRM will ensure our customers can be in constant contact with both existing and prospective customers to ensure they are delivering the right service.
Transparency to the customer is what rental companies are being asked for by their customer base and this can be provided using modern day technology and with very little effort. For example, if it’s assumed that all rental companies are offering equipment at the same rate, the only defining factor can be service. The rental company that delivers and collects the correct equipment, on time and with less downtime due to well maintained equipment has a significant advantage over competitors and will play a part in influencing a customer choice of rental supplier.
inspHire Digital Pen Technology
1st Mar 2010
inspHire digital pen technology offers signature and note capture direct into the inspHire software.
The pen itself has a small camera viewing the nib of the pen, recording the pen strokes and detecting exactly where it is on the page and which document it is writing on. The captured information is passed back to the server from the pen via a Bluetooth enabled mobile phone which then pushes the data into ‘the cloud’ and back to the company’s inspHire installation. Within minutes of the customer signing, an exact copy of the document is stored within inspHire ready for retrieval at any point. Even if the driver loses his copy there will always be the copy held in inspHire.

inspHire and erento partnership
19th Aug 2009
As Europe’s leading rental software solution provider, inspHire are excited to be working with erento, Europe’s leading online rental market place. inspHire has had a WebPortal, allowing customers to place orders online and view catalogues, since 2001. However, inspHire’s WebPortal is only available to companies using the inspHire rental management system which has restricted its use. The beauty of erento is that it is available for everyone from a DIY enthusiast renting equipment for the first time to a national construction company requiring equipment many miles from home.
Rental has often lagged behind the general retail market place when it comes to technology but not anymore with the invention of erento. erento provides a common single point of sourcing rental equipment on the web, in your local area or further afield.
“This is such a win win situation as rental companies can promote their products and prospective customers can search for the best deal that suits them all in the one market place. For rental software providers it is essential they are part of this new offering; to be able to take enquiries online directly from the web and then process the enquiry through their system and allow rental companies to automatically upload products and product information to the Erento website with the click of a button” said Clinton Patterson of erento.
“We at inspHire see a great future for erento and very much want to be a part of it, choosing to be the first UK based rental software company to work with erento was an easy decision and not an opportunity to be missed” said Graham Dobbs of inspHire Ltd.
“It was a natural partnership, if you're looking for software that's easy and intuitive to use, functionally rich, delivers good return on investment, utilises the latest technology and is a market leader in their specialised field then you would be hard pressed to get a better match than inspHire and erento”.
Height for Hire / Easi UpLifts select inspHire Rental Management System
29th Jun 2009
Height for Hire / Easi UpLifts the leading access rental company operating in Ireland, UK and Slovakia have taken the opportunity to implement a new rental management system to assist with the rapid growth of the company.
After opening its new state of the art, purpose built premises in Dublin it was an obvious next step to start to look at infrastructure and supporting systems. A system that would lead to a more efficient rental process as well as providing detailed business analysis for Height for Hire / Easi UpLifts was essential.
The desire to provide a better service to its customers was also high on the priority list, utilising inspHire Web Portal Height for Hire / Easi UpLifts will be able to offer a secure log in to its customers so they may gain access to information like invoice details, what is on hire where and other key information. inspHire CRM will also assist Height for Hire / Easi UpLifts to keep track of customers and prospects and inform them of important events, news and information, ensuring the customer base is aware of new equipment available for rent.
The workshop module allows all machine maintenance history to be retrieved at a click of a button and scheduled servicing and maintenance can also be easily planned using inspHire. Full Multi Currency Purchase Ordering Processing will provide a high level of control on spending, and consistency when ordering many spare parts, thus adhering to quality control policies.
John Ball, Managing Director of Height for Hire / Easi UpLifts and President of IPAF, who has many years of experience in the access market, recently stated that investing in internal systems, was one of his key solutions to bringing his companies through the recession. He commented -
“As a leading international Access Rental Specialist operating across many countries we needed a rental management solution that could meet our specific needs, Height for Hire researched the market and reviewed several companies. After many meetings and analysis we selected inspHire because it ticked all the boxes. inspHire is already well known for providing software to most of the access market and has a proven track record in the international market as well. The software is simple and easy to use and is the most modern looking software we saw - it feels and looks like it was designed just for the Access Rental Industry. The fact that inspHire integrates to leading accounting solutions like Microsoft Dynamics was a key factor, in that we can be reassured by using a solid state of the art accounting solution.”
Graham Dobbs, Director at inspHire commented, “We are very excited about working with Height for Hire / Easi UpLifts and are extremely pleased to be associated with a company that has vision and a passion for what they do. As one of the leading independent access rental companies and with such a unique set of requirements it was a real plus when we discovered we could provide the solution to meet their needs with very little customisation.”

The ability to hand write notes about damage or other specific information like collection instructions on a document and for the inspHire system to store this information automatically provides a genuine edge in todays market place helping reduce general overhead costs for running an efficient business”.
inspHire will also be demonstrating recent developments that help hire companies reduce their operating costs, and increase the level of service they can provide to their customers, these include inspHire Mobile Working, inspHire WebPortal and inspHire CRM.

SED success for inspHire Rental Management Solutions
18th May 2009
inspHire reported very encouraging results from the SED 2009 exhibition despite the economic gloom. Although foot traffic appeared to be down on last year which was to be expected, the quality of the enquiries was excellent.
“We had many companies enquiring how the inspHire rental management solution could help their businesses become more efficient especially in the current climate” said Graham Dobbs Director of inspHire.
“We know that looking after your current customers is essential during a recession and inspHire can help businesses do that by providing the critical information about customer needs and trends at the touch of a button so that quick decisions can be made and acted upon. Several existing clients who visited the show came to see how our next generation of inspHire products can help them to use their resources more effectively. Mobile Working, WebPortal and CRM products all of which have been designed specifically for the rental industry and integrate seamlessly with inspHire can help to maximise efficiencies and in turn company profitability.”
