Height for Hire / Easi UpLifts select inspHire Rental Management System

Height for Hire / Easi UpLifts the leading access rental company operating in Ireland, UK and Slovakia have taken the opportunity to implement a new rental management system to assist with the rapid growth of the company.

After opening its new state of the art, purpose built premises in Dublin it was an obvious next step to start to look at infrastructure and supporting systems. The desire to provide a better service to its customers was also high on the priority list, utilising inspHire Web Portal Height for Hire / Easi UpLifts will be able to offer a secure log in to its customers so they may gain access to information like invoice details, what is on hire where and other key information. inspHire CRM will also assist Height for Hire / Easi UpLifts to keep  track of customers and prospects and inform them of important events, news and information, ensuring the customer base is aware of new equipment available for rent.

The workshop module allows all machine maintenance history to be retrieved at a click of a button and scheduled servicing and maintenance can also be easily planned using inspHire. Full Multi Currency Purchase Ordering Processing will provide a high level of control on spending, and consistency when ordering many spare parts, thus adhering to quality control policies.

inspHire customer Spiderlift expand to new heights

The Spiderlift company gave Karen Miles of inspHire an exceptional view of the Vertikal Days event from the top of its Leo 50GT. At 50 metres it is the largest powered access platform designed for inside use.
 
Spiderlift use inspHire to manage its fleet and "it has been fundamental in how we manage our business" said Andy Bray, Commercial Director or Spiderlift. "inspHire gives us all round visibility of the business and this allows us to give our customers a prompt and efficient service, enabling us to keep our customers loyal and to win new business." 
 
In a stagnant market and where other companies are contracting and letting people go, Ranger Equipment/Spiderlift are bucking the trend - the company is growing and to keep pace have moved into purpose built premises, in Chesterfield, where they have dedicated training facilities and offer training to IPAF standard, as well as showcasing their fleet of Teupen spider access equipment.
 
In addition, and making tracks in the South East on behalf of Spiderlift, is MBS Tracked Access. As a long standing customer of Spiderlift, MBS know the machines very well and have now partnered with Spiderlift to offer the range of machines in the South East. “Working with MBS has allowed us to offer a more comprehensive service to our customer base in the South East, and to service the Olympic development. MBS will now be implementing inspHire rental management system so that we can have a fully integrated system. MBS will have up to the minute information of which machines are available to enable them to provide a fast and efficient service that customers have come to expect from us"  said Andy.


inspHire rental software success at Vertikal Days

“Vertikal Days has got it just right – it’s a great networking event. We had the opportunity to meet up with many prospects and customers alike and it was very encouraging to see that many of the exhibitors and companies associated with them are customers of ours”.

We are hearing reassuring comments even in the current climate and we have recently been selected by Height for Hire/Easi-Uplifts to provide its rental management solution. John Ball, Managing Director of Height for Hire/Easi Uplifts who has many years of experience in the access market and is President of IPAF, recently stated that “investing in internal systems, was one of his key solutions to help his businesses through a recession”.  

Spiderlift, another exhibitor at the show and inspHire customer, has continued to grow and has recently moved into purpose built premises, in Chesterfield, showcasing its fleet of Teupen spider access rental equipment and IPAF training facilities.


SED success for inspHire Rental Management Solutions

inspHire reported very encouraging results from the SED 2009 exhibition despite the economic gloom. Although foot traffic appeared to be down on last year which was to be expected, the quality of the enquiries was excellent.

“We had many companies enquiring how the inspHire rental management solution could help their businesses become more efficient especially in the current climate” said Graham Dobbs Director of inspHire.

“We know that looking after your current customers is essential during a recession and inspHire can help businesses do that by providing the critical information about customer needs and trends at the touch of a button so that quick decisions can be made and acted upon. Several existing clients who visited the show came to see how our next generation of inspHire products can help them to use their resources more effectively. Mobile Working, WebPortal and CRM products all of which have been designed specifically for the rental industry and integrate seamlessly with inspHire can help to maximise efficiencies and in turn company profitability.”

Well done to the Executive Hire Show team yet again for a well run and organised show, especially given the current climate".

Graham went on to say, “Many of inspHire’s existing customers also came to see us at the show to see the new features available within inspHire – and there was lots of buzz around our WebPortal and Mobile Working solutions, especially the ‘signature capture’ feature, which allows delivery drivers to capture signatures electronically.

The show also provided a great opportunity for inspHire to hold its independent user forum at the show where our customers commented on ‘how refreshing it was to see lots of new features being demonstrated in inspHire’s presentation as well as being shown how these features could help them run their businesses more efficiently’. Many of the forum members also commented on how useful it was to network with other hire professionals and share experiences and ideas in the current climate”.

inspHire’s independent User Forums are held periodically throughout the year and provide inspHire customers with the opportunity to discuss with each other about the software’s usage and contribute to the future development of inspHire.


inspHire hosts user Forum at EHS

For the second year running inspHire will be hosting its Office Edition User Forum at the Executive Hire Show. “The concept worked really well for us last year”, said Matt Cunningham, Director of inspHire. “We understand that time is a very precious commodity for our customers and so the combination of visiting the Executive Hire Show with being involved in the User Forum was really successful.   “This year we are also adding a seminar presentation to the programme, so that our customers can come and get an overview of our new CRM, Mobile Working and WebPortal products”.

The inspHire User Forum is an independent group of inspHire customers that contribute to the development of the inspHire rental management software which is essential in assisting the company to maintain its policy of continued product innovation and development.

inspHire Demo New Technology at Vertikal Days 2008

At the meeting for the Crane and Access industry at Haydock Park, inspHire will be demonstrating its Windows based Rental Management Software, which is aimed at rental companies of all sizes and is designed to be scaleable, flexible and easy to use. Employees performing on /off-hires at the hire desk are presented with simple and easy to use on/off-hire screens and procedures whilst the extensive data mining capabilities allow management to extract business critical information.

inspHire has many years of experience within the access rental market. Since 1997 inspHire has been implemented in over 35 different access rental companies helping them overcome some of the daily operational difficulties they face.
In addition, inspHire will be demonstrating its newly developed CRM, WebPortal and Mobile Working technologies bringing faster more efficient work practises to their customers. inspHire Director joins HAE Board

A businessman with more than 20 years’ experience in the hire industry has been co-opted onto the board of Hire Association Europe.

Graham Dobbs, of inspHire Limited in Nottingham, took up his post at Hire Association Europe in January 2008. He will serve as a co-opted member of the HAE Board, until the AGM in May, as one of three supplier board members.  

Graham became a member of the board after being encouraged by other members to nominate himself when one of its directors stood down.

Graham said: “I could see a change within the HAE and I wanted to become part of it. After attending the Hire Association’s last few annual events, I witnessed the true effort and dedication that goes into running HAE and maintaining its high standards. It was like a breath of fresh air compared to other companies I had come into contact with, and I wanted to play a greater part in continuing its reputable organisation.”

HAE is the leading trade association for hire and rental companies in the UK. It was formed in 1974 and represents 1,000 member companies with more than 3,000 hire and rental depots and branches across the UK.

That membership also brings together some diverse sectors of the hire industry including tool and equipment, plant, audio visual, catering, leisure and portable sanitation – as well as suppliers and manufacturers to the industry.

Graham has a wealth of knowledge of hire.  He has worked in the hire industry for more than 20 years and has been a member of HAE all this time.  

Graham is currently sales director for inspHire Ltd, responsible for UK and overseas sales for new and existing clients.

inspHire has been a member of HAE since 1994 and it provide software to many HAE members.
