inspHire Express - FAQs

What accounts application do I need to run inspHire Express?
Use any version of Sage 50 or other similar accounts packages such as Pegasus, or QuickBooks.

Do I need a server to run inspHire Express?
No - inspHire Express runs as either a single-user or two-user system on Windows PC’s.

What are the minimum hardware/Software specifications required?
For a single User system we would recommend -

• PC with Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP Professional, or Windows Vista Business Edition or Premium Edition (note - Vista Home Basic Edition is not supported) and a 2Ghz Processor
• Minimum of 1 GB of RAM (2GB if using Windows Vista)
• Minimum of 60GB free hard disk space
• CD-Rom (or DVD ROM) drive for installing software
• A monitor and Graphics card that can display at least a 1024 x 768 resolution
• Dedicated backup device (either an external hard-disk, CD-Writer or Tape backup) is strongly recommended

For a two user system we would recommend -

• PC with Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP Professional, or Windows Vista Business Edition (note - Vista Home Basic Edition is not supported)
• A 2Ghz Processor (or a dual-core processor or better)
• Minimum of 2GB of RAM (to hold the data and second client PC with 1GB of RAM)
• Minimum of 60GB free hard disk space
• CD-Rom (or DVD Rom) drive for installing software
• A monitor and Graphics card that can display at least a 1024 x 768 resolution
• Dedicated backup device (either an external hard-disk, CD-Writer or Tape backup) is strongly recommended

Do I invoice from my accounts package or inspHire Express?
You can raise invoices from either inspHire or your accounts package, depending on your requirements. To read more click here

Can I use my own logo or stationery on paperwork?
Yes you can – inspHire Express will insert your logo into your documentation for you as long as it is saved on your hard drive.
All your business stationery can be customised to your requirements. Reports can be amended using Crystal Report Writer which we can supply or for a small fee we can carry out these changes on your behalf.

How do I learn how to use the system?
There is a suite of Training videos supplied with the Express product, and a dedicated User Manual. An online Knowledge Base is also available.
