Background

B&W Plant Hire and Sales Ltd was founded in 1994 by Bill Whitwell; Bill has over 40 years experience in the plant hire industry. His son Will, who is also from a plant hire background, joined him in the business in 1998.
The company has grown steadily since then and is now a five branch operation.

Over the past 10 years B&W has expanded the products it has available in stock creating a "One Stop Shop" for the building and construction industry. As safety is now paramount within the construction industry all equipment is supplied with the correct safety features i.e. flashing beacons, safety mirrors, certification etc, it also arrives promptly on site wherever the location.

The Issue

B&W Plant Hire were using a hire system but it was failing to meet the increased demands of the growing business. In order to improve the level of control over the expanding business B&W set down certain criteria that they required in a rental software system that could carry them forward - it needed to be windows based; had a live link to Sage and one that could keep track of the servicing on its equipment.  

The Solution

B&W Plant Hire selected inspHire Office Edition.
