C and D Rigging
Background
C and D Rigging, formed in 1992 by Dave Wiggins and Chris Sayers, is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of rigging and rigging equipment. It is based in Pinewood Film Studios, the biggest film and TV studio in Europe, right next door to the newly built James Bond 007 Stage, again the largest stage in Europe.
The Problem
C and D Rigging had been using spreadsheets to track their equipment. As the company grew it was taking five days out of every month to do the invoicing and part returns had become excessively time consuming. They became aware that they needed a rental management solution to streamline the business and become more efficient.
C and D Rigging required a system that would be easy to use, give them the flexibility they needed with different rate types and provide a powerful, familiar interface to Microsoft Office products.
