Grade 1 Hire and Sales

Background               

Grade 1 Hire & Sales Ltd was established in 2002. The company is based in Salford and well established in the North West area due in the main to the care and attention that they devote to achieving a high level of customer satisfaction. Grade 1 supply  Scaffolding, Towers, Pipeclamps, Trestles, Boards, Props, Access Equipment, Temporary Fencing and Hoarding Panels, Roof Edge Protection and various safety equipment for Sale and Hire.

The Issue

In the early years all of Grade 1’s invoices were manually typed but as the business expanded it was obvious a hire management system needed to be put into place.

“I made a common mistake, phoning around and looking at various hire software and then going for the cheapest option. This mistake cost me dearly; I spent the next year working with a so-called software company! Amending, updating and inputting our required data all to no avail. The hire software we originally purchased was not going to work to a useable level. The company then disappeared and I was left with nothing to show for the money I had spent. But what was more annoying was the amount of time I had wasted and as a company we were still typing every invoice manually".

The Solution

Second time around Grade 1 put a great deal of effort  into researching a new hire management system.
