GT Access Ltd
Background
GT Access operates out of two depots in the Midlands, with Head Office in Bromsgrove. GT moved into larger premises in Gloucester in March 2008 and Redditch in May 2008 having purchased 200 new access machines. They can boast one of the youngest access fleets in the market – 200 out of 350 machines are less than one year old.
Whatever the customer requirement GT Access offer Hire, Sales, Service and training on all of its powered access equipment .
The Issue
GT Access is a long standing customer of inspHire, implementing the system in late 1990’s.
It was 1997, GT Access had 50-60 machines but were tracking and invoicing manually. The fact that it was taking them so long to do the invoicing every month was the trigger they needed to look for a hire management system that would do this work for them.
The Solution
inspHire was on the verge of launching the first Windows package onto the market and this was a key factor for GT to select the inspHire hire management solution.
By 2001, GT Access had acquired four depots.
“We could not have achieved this growth without inspHire. From a management reporting perspective inspHire has given us access to a vast amount of business information that we can use to analyse how the business is performing and use it to forecast, on a daily basis if we want to.
I have now joined the inspHire Office Edition User Forum which gives us the opportunity to get involved and have an influence on development issues.
I particularly like the way inspHire is constantly developing the software, especially the MobileWorking product. Things change all the time, especially in these challenging times - equipment needs to be available and MobileWorking gives companies the flexibility to organise collections quickly as the jobs come in to the depot.”
