Background

Multi-Hire Power Tools Ltd was established 20 years ago in Warrington and changed hands in February 2008 to its current owner Andy Harrison.

The Issue

When Andy took over the company, it had been using a DOS based rental software package  which had been purchased at the company’s commencement. The system had been only semi-loaded  and used only to maintain & invoice hire trade account contracts. All of the equipment was not fully imported into the system and neither were the counter sale items. In addition no asset register was kept.

Andy decided to look around at alternative hire solutions because Multi –Hire required a system that would  incorporate all aspects of the business; would link with SAGE and most importantly would offer value for money.
