Background

PRS has been established for over 25 years, with depots in Nottingham and Lincoln, supplying the construction and allied industries with plant and tools.
For PRS, no job is too big or too small. They are open for emergencies 24 hours, 7 days a week, to provide the best possible service to their customers supplying everything from trench rammer's to step ladders, scaffold tower to compressor power. 
PRS sister company UK Diamond Drilling Ltd has been operating for 14 years from the same address.

The Issue

Prior to inspHire PRS were using another rental package. For PRS there were two main problems with the system. The first was that the reporting function was not particularly good – it took far too long to access the reports required and as such became problematic. In addition, if PRS had problems with the software they found it difficult to get them resolved. 
It became apparent that they should be looking for an alternative rental management solution.

PRS knew of inspHire and gave them the opportunity to demonstrate how their inspHire Rental Software could benefit PRS.  

The Solution

PRS selected inspHire Office Edition.

It was soon evident that from a reports point of view the inspHire rental solution was far superior allowing PRS the management control that they required.  inspHire also gave PRS increased flexibility  - to amend invoices whilst viewing them on screen, and the ability to give users limited access rights with reduced functionality so they were not bombarded with functions that did not pertain to their job function.       

Live integration to their SAGE accounts package meant that PRS were able to save both valuable time and resource and the ability to see historical invoices at the touch of a button was immensely useful.

The inspHire Purchase Order Processing function has enabled PRS to speed up their purchase invoice clearance and has been implicit in a major time saving. 

PRS has also found inspHire extremely useful to run its subcontracting business ‘UK Diamond Drilling’. inspHire is used to manage on-site work including client billing, cost management, purchasing and managing hired-in equipment. Specific documents such as risk assessments and method statements are pulled off automatically from Excel, ensuring all regulatory information accompanies the hire contract.
