Rapid continue to invest in their staff, providing high-quality training and encouraging them in their long-term ambitions.
Although much has changed in the industry since they were established in 1982, their key values and objectives have remained consistent:
• To provide the best quality access and hoisting equipment, with a focus on specialist machinery.
• To provide a superior, personal service.
• To be safe and reliable, maintaining and servicing all equipment in order to meet and surpass legislative and European safety standards.
As a family run business, they pride ourselves in building long-term relationships with their customers and always aim to exceed expectations.
The Issue
Rapid Platforms had been using a manual system to track the where abouts of its equipment, then as they grew they found that more and more time was being spent on administrative processes and pushed them towards looking for a user friendly and intuitive hire management system.
The Solution
Rapid Platforms compared inspHire and a competitive system and selected inspHire Office Edition because of its ease of use and its ability to grow with the business.
“We are now much more efficient, especially with instant access to complicated information. Once our customers got used to the paperwork, everybody was happy - we could serve them quicker and provide detailed information after the event.
inspHire is a very comprehensive system with loads of functionality. As we have grown and become more sophisticated in our processes, inspHire has been an asset.
The response to our initial problems was good, as we were on a very steep learning curve and everyone at inspHire was very patient with us and we have been able to maintain a test copy of the program – which is invaluable.”
Alistair Jordan, Managing Director, Rapid Platforms.
