- Transport Logistics -
inspHire Transport Logistics Module allows you to plan how you use your transport. Transport Logistics manages Deliveries of both sale and rental equipment, Exchanges, Collections and Purchase Order Collections as well as identifying whether special loading equipment is required or if the job is high priority. Simple click and drag technology allows you to load a vehicle with its jobs and then view the journey using Microsoft MapPoint. The order of tasks can be amended to achieve optimum efficiency whilst inspHire will continually check that you are not overloading the vehicle. Once a journey has been planned all documents can be printed of in one simple operation; vehicle loading sheet, all delivery notes, collection notes, purchase orders or exchange notes. Everyone in the business can see the status of a job; whether transport has been arranged or if the item is still in transit or has been delivered.
inspHire can even manage external haulage with purchase order control for tracking cost and revenue against haulage. - Resource Planner -
When a job requires additional resources whether it be people, equipment vehicles or rooms, inspHire provides a graphical display of the jobs running in the period you have selected and the resource available. Using click and drag technology you can simply drag resources or people onto jobs with the system warning if that person is already booked on another job or has holiday booked for that period. Resources can also create day charges when working on a job if required. Alternatively, just a cost may be generated, feeding into the job costing feature of inspHire. inspHire provides views by job showing individual jobs, the people booked to that job or by resource. This versatile functionality can save many man hours across your business and gives a full view of resource availability across the business allowing users to provide high level capacity planning.
