About Aerial Platforms

Based in Leigh, Lancashire; Aerial Platforms Ltd is one of the leading privately owned single source MEWP rental companies in the UK. APL offer a range of powered access and lifting equipment with working heights ranging from 4.5m to over 43m and lift capacities from 1500kg to 4000kg. The company has seen continued growth over the years and now has a fleet of over 450 machines and a team of dedicated staff striving to provide the best service to their customers.

The Issue

When starting up the business, Aerial Platforms Ltd was aware that it would make good business sense to invest in a hire management system right from the start. Having previously used hire management software in another business, Aerial Platforms knew the software would help them to work in a structured manner and to provide a professional image when winning key accounts and major projects.

When searching the marketing, Aerial Platforms knew that they required a software package that would continue to improve and develop, supporting the company as it expanded, whilst still being user friendly on a day to day basis.

The Solution

The decision was made, inspHire Office was the solution that most suited Aerial Platforms needs. When Aerial Platforms first transitioned over to inspHire, customers welcomed the new look and felt the invoicing was a lot easier to understand thanks to the clear layout and structure that inspHire offered.

As well as inspHire Office, Aerial Platforms Ltd have recently implemented inspHire Mobile which has allowed for a lot more productivity in day to day operations. “With things constantly changing in the fast paced industry we are in, having the ability to work on the go with inspHire Mobile has really benefited us and allowed us to refine our daily operations so we can consistently provide a good service to our customers” – Jason Seddon, Director, Aerial Platforms Ltd.
