Lots of Learning at the 2017 Trade Fair & Convention

Oct 20, 2017

Recently, we made our way to the to the highly anticipated HAE EHA Trade Fair & Convention to exhibit the latest features within our hire equipment management software. Held across two days (11th and 12th of October), the shows strapline was ‘Connect. Discover. Learn’ and focussed on giving both visitors and exhibitors the opportunity to network with like-minded people and to learn from some industry leading experts.

Learning from Experts

Notorious for brilliant networking opportunities, exceptional keynote speakers and engaging seminars, this year’s show definitely didn’t disappoint. Headline speaker, former Team GB Paralympic bronze and gold medallist, Naomi Riches MBE, took to the stage and spoke about how to improve employee performance and retain the top talent. This speech was particularly relevant and worked in harmony with the HAE’s theme, the future of the hire industry. It’s imperative for all businesses to keep hold of and get the most out of their team and there were some great tips to take away from this.

The HAE are pioneers that invest heavily in the future of the hire industry, and the Trade Fair was a perfect example of this. With The HAE EHA ‘Class of 2017’ Graduates receiving their ILM Level 5 in Leadership & Management. Another example of HAE’s forward thinking approach is, V-Hire, HAE’s innovative virtual reality training platform. We’re going to be seeing this forward thinking technology making a huge impact in the industry. Once again, we enjoyed seeing the rapid progression it has made and discussing the effect it is going to have on the hire industry as well as equipment management software.

Exhibiting on Stand 100

Trade shows are the ideal platform for us to show off the latest features we’ve put together. And, The Trade Fair & Convention was no exception. The show gave us the perfect platform to network with likeminded hirers as well as keep up with the latest trends, demands and issues the industry faces. A hot topic of the show was mobile, which meant a lot of people had questions around the functionality within inspHire Mobile. One area, in particular, that caught visitors’ attention was the ability to work offline and complete jobs while on site in rural locations with little to no internet signal.

It’s always a good experience meeting new faces and demonstrating our software, but the Trade Fair & Convention also gave us the opportunity to catch up with a few of our customers. We were able to take the time to show them some new features that they might not have previously known about as well as discuss how they could be better utilising inspHire to improve their processes.

A big thank you to the HAE EHA and all its visitors, the show definitely lived up to the theme of Connect, Discover, Learn, with speakers and sessions providing a lot of thought provoking material. We thoroughly enjoyed our two days at the Ricoh and it was a pleasure to exhibit on Stand 100.
