The Showman's Show 2016

With The Showman’s Show having recently come to a close, it’s now a great time to reflect upon how successful the show truly was. Showcasing products and services from the UK’s most innovative outdoor and event companies, The Showman Show once again delivered.  


Not only does the Hire Convention provide us with the opportunity to showcase our products, it also gives us the chance to network, catch up with customers, meet other hire businesses and learn what’s hot in the industry from the many speakers and seminars - it really is an all-round event.


This year saw an inspHire customer as headline speaker, Boels Rental CEO, Pierre Boels. He spoke about the European Rental Market with a Focus on the Netherlands. It was a great talk, with plenty of knowledge and insight to take from it. Later in the day he even had time to stop by the inspHire stand for a chat.


The show gave us the opportunity to meet fellow event professionals, we got to see loads of new prospects and had the chance to catch up with lots of our customers. We offered all visitors the chance to see inspHire in action and provided free demonstrations so that businesses were able to see how our products could streamline their business processes. It also gave companies an insight into the latest product developments and enhancements since the last show.


Visitors came to us in huge numbers and they were all able to get a hands-on experience with our software to see how it could improve their business.


A new feature which we were eager to display, was our powerful new route planning functionality. This feature helps businesses manage service runs, be more cost effective and time efficient. Many visitors were interested in the new functionality and we managed to show its full capability across the two days.


inspHire Mobile and CRM were also of huge interest. Outdoor and event industry businesses often require you to be on the move and with inspHire Mobile, you have the capability to make challenging processes much easier and more efficient. As for CRM, our new Mailchimp integration was a hot topic. This impressive functionality is great for businesses that want to improve customer communication and send tailored email marketing campaigns.


One aspect of the show we particularly enjoyed were the campfire sessions. Panels of industry experts discussed topics such as health and safety within the events industry. There was also opportunity for members of the audience get involved, interact and ask questions. We thoroughly enjoyed the campfire sessions and hope they’re here to stay!


A variety of exhibitors put on displays ranging from the impressive Summer of festivals’ live concerts to the bizarre but intriguing JA Camels’ Camel racing. This is just a brief example of how much variety The Showman Show offers.
