As Project Portfolio Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the Head of Professional services oversee the portfolio of projects currently assigned to the team. 


Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

- Create and maintain project plans.

- Prepare and conduct project kick-off meetings both internally and externally.

- Monitor, track and report delivery activity and project status both internally and externally.

- Conduct 1-2-1 sessions with PSG team members to obtain status updates and risks.

- Manage/document/escalate delivery risks and issues to Head of Professional Services.

- Promote adherence to the PSG ways of working document.

- Identify areas of improvement within the inspHire implementation life cycle.

- Identify areas of focus for internal training for PSG team members.

- Support the implementation of process enhancements alongside the Head of Professional Services.


Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Essential:

- Strong organisational and communication skills.

- 2+ years of Project Management or Project Management Office (PMO) experience.

- Experience working with an industry recognised project management methodology (eg PRINCE2)

- Demonstrable experience of coordinating a portfolio of projects.

- Attention to detail and thoroughness in all aspects of the project life cycle.

- Understanding of ERP systems and their delivery

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will need to be a hands-on individual utilising your Project Management skills along with being a Technical and Functional Consultant. This is a great team environment that is very collaborative.  You will work autonomously implementing the inspHire and Third-party product range with via on-site visits or remote sessions. Must evidence or be comfortable working in a fast-paced professional environment. 

  • Good knowledge of IT concepts (i.e. networks and exposure to SQL/Crystal Reports would be beneficial).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of varying scope to successful completion.
  • Ensure all project tasks/documentation is correctly maintained.
  • Ability to implement the Corporate Edition application (training provided) and all related modules inspHire develop in house, along with all third-party applications inspHire Implement.
  • Assist the development team with an understanding of specifications during the development of modifications and subsequently test and document development changes.
  • Work directly with the client to understand their business and make recommendations for improvements in their business including full hire process, inventory, purchasing, account management and accounting.
  • Responsible for training the clients during implementation.  
  • Responsible for the final checklist in the implementation process and customer documentation is complete.  
  • Test and troubleshoot functionality of the installed system. Work to resolve any customer problems and queries.
  • To keep up to date with all product updates both in house and third party, ensuring the customer is kept up to date with the latest new modifications.  
  • Able to carry out inspHire classroom training sessions (internal and external) where required.
  • Provide support and advice in pre-sales consultancy work working alongside the sale team and third-party suppliers.  
  • Provide support and advice to the helpdesk team, working alongside helpdesk analysts for any case that you can be of assistance.

We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven Cloud Rental Operations Manager to direct and manage our organisation's cloud rental software business division activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies focusing on around the customer success team, development and product direction.  An improvement mindset is critical to this role so you may have a PMO or process improvement background.  

You will also manage the growing Customer Service Team (6 employees at present) for personal and career development as well working with sales and Development teams.  The business needs someone to bring together an already highly functioning developing team and help them with direction. The organisation is renowned for its high levels of customer care with exceptional levels of service – great to inherit and develop.  We’d like you to be a guiding hand with motivation and focus. You will be responsible for nurturing key clients and dealing with customer requirements and communications

There will be a requirement to liaise with other areas of the business to ensure sharing of information and ideas.  You will need to evidence proactive leadership and vision in directing business functions, which will assist our organisation in maintaining relationships with clients, increasing staff productivity, improving service, ensuring sustainability, and meeting business objectives. 


Roles and responsibilities 

  • Responsible for the operational activities of the Cloud Rental division.
  • Management of Customer Success teams working on Current-RMS and OnRent globally.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with key accounts.
  • Onboarding and development of new starters and the existing team.
  • Liaise with the Product and Development teams on the delivery of new features to the customer base.
  • Manage operational systems like Stripe, Chargebee, and Intercom for both Current and OnRent.
  • Responsible for the updating of the terms and conditions working with the KCS legal team.
  • Work with the technical authors working on Current-RMS and OnRent.
  • Create and manage the support handbook for the Current-RMS and OnRent teams.
  • Be responsible for maintaining superior customer service levels whilst promoting an inclusive positive attitude to the whole company and its customers.
  • Ensure on going comms with teams and leaders and that your business area remains aligned to its goals.
  • Confident at generating appropriate reports and delivering presentations.


Cloud Operations Manager Requirements

We’re looking for a talented developer to join our team and help us to continue delivering cutting-edge functionality to our client base, with the opportunity of involvement in some interesting Group projects. Ideal candidates will be Ruby / Rails developers but we will offer cross-training to the right candidate with commercial experience in other languages such as C#, Java and Javascript.   Successful candidates will be trained in the cloud technologies and platforms we use to produce and deliver Current.

 When not training, we expect developers to work autonomously and grant freedom through our design and development methodology that allows the developer to help shape the solution with the Product team. For that reason we want candidates with an ability to identify, communicate, and solve problems. We also integrate our code regularly and ship often and believe in short incremental development cycles, so we expect our developers to be committing code regularly using feature branches. Our delivery pipeline is driven by automated tests and a continuous deployment philosophy.
